Honestly, I think that’s kind of what they’re going for with her right now. After some of the events at the end of Clone Wars she’s left jaded, damaged after being betrayed by the Order she had pledged her life to. She exists outside of the central Jedi/Sith conflict, a sort of neutral entity, leading to her aloofness

Not sure I agree. To me, the flow and pacing of the episode felt perfect. Drawing it out over a multi-episode arc might have diminished it a bit.

I think this is exactly why Yoda sent Ezra to Malachor. It will serve as an example to Ezra of what happens when a Jedi uses conflict as a resolution. I expect that Revan and some of the Kotor events will be brought back into cannon here.

But for some reason I felt like Leia seemed much older than Ezra when they were on screen together. That really confused me.

I hope this makes it out of the greys...

This was exactly the show that came to my mind as well, moreso than Sleepy Hollow and Castle that others have mentioned.

I would guess they’re all of the Amazon self-published ilk. That’s where I recognize 3 of 4 from.

Well, Tor it is then...hope they take notice...

I have 100% always pictured Garrett Morris as Mr Nancy.

Was she ever in any real danger there though? Especially if Unkar Plutt was in on it? We see that Rey was literally handed to him in the flashback, perhaps through some agreement with Tekka that may or may not have included the Falcon. Plutt probably directed her in to scavenging in order to have a guise to keep her

This. This has been exactly my assumption since day 1. Why else would Lor San Tekka, a compatriot in Luke’s effort to reestablish the Jedi Order, just happen to also be on the same random backwater planet? He spirited the child Luke had but didn't even know about away to protect her.

    I like that idea.

No mention of Tarkin? Mangled from his escape of Deathstar I, maybe hiding out on Yavin IV (the site of Luke’s academy in the EU) until stumbled upon by a young Ben Solo?

Unkar Plutt - Simon Pegg’s cameo.

That was definitely Unkar Plutt pulling her away.

My god, that movie sounds horrible...

Yeah, but I wasn’t jumping in my way-back machine to talk history from a millennium ago. And I don't believe that the rule of 2 was ever broken by Plagueis or Sidious in any of what is now considered cannon (depending on how you'd rule it if Plagueis is in fact still alive).

This is spot on with my thinking. The trail was what really clinched it. I’ve been trying to find some sort of picture of it. I have the feeling that if we were able to pinpoint the start of the trail, it would be the site of Luke’s new Jedi academy/the Ren massacre we see in flashbacks.

None of the above. She was in the hangar, she just hid in that thing she opened on the wall, so they believed she wasn't there.
