First up: the offensiveness of this photo is not what is at issue, it’s the message it sends: This behavior is OK. Taking down the photo sends the opposite message: This behavior is not OK. For the record, do you think non-consensual kissing and other contact is OK?

His uniform appears to have gibberish chinese glyphs on the shoulders and lapels in several images (as if the AI is partially confuzzling him with uncle Mao perhaps.) Also, his array of medals are a smear of color on the final picture - interesting, but not very historically accurate I suspect. :)

Last of Us hate-fans are weird. They talk about the sequel and the show as some woke takeover by people who hate the franchise’s fanbase, but like, this is all made by the same core team. And there was no franchise before the sequel and the show - it was just one game.

They’re returning them for the same reason you’re writing the article, to get clicks. We all know once they have better app support and get cheaper they’ll all go back and get them again, but it’s an essentially free way for them to get content since they’re just getting all their money back.

Well, why not? It’s fun, and the Quest 2 can be had for $250 and doesn’t need a PC to work. If you’ve ever done paintball, VR shooters are the closest I’ve ever come to replicating that experience, minus the pain.
