I think that vehicles should come with a “stopping rating”. A sports car is going to always stop faster than a minivan full of children. If you’re going 20+ over the speed limit, lets penalize you more if you’ve got shitty stopping distance too, for being an even more unsafe driver.

Issue with that is harvesting, when it comes time to harvest a monocultured farm, can one machine designed for it, do an acre in the same amount of time it could take 50+ people to do? We don’t yet have machines capable of harvesting in such varied environments, do we?

If we could start publicly rating individual taxi’s drivers and vehicle cleanliness that’d go a long way to weeding out the bullshit... As it stands though, the quality of your driver and the quality of their vehicle is a crapshoot in a septic tank.
