Consider this, off the rack M16's and M4's are considered “combat accurate” if they can maintain a 3 minute of angle group. Off the shelf AR-15's in the $700 range should be getting <2 moa, and generally, any AR-15 over $1000 should be getting <1.25 moa groups.

I agree, I’ve checked it, thrown it in the back of pickup trucks, knocked it down a flight of stairs, and even used it as a makeshift rest for my rifle. It’s got downsides yes, but it’s really a buy it once and never think about needing to replace it ever again kind of purchase.
