That’s great and all, but having been a Sims player since the first one and seeing it naturally progress to the open world nature of the third game, I find it hard to justify buying Sims 4.

This. I played merciful Korvo for the first half of the game and then thought it’d suit the story for him to be vengeful after what happened halfway. I enjoyed killing more than being non lethal goody two shoes. The ending I got was probably the worst out of all the endings. Let’s just say it’s definitely not canon

It sucks for people who buy games when they’re released, but for those like me who wait for the GOTY editions while playing their backlog games, it’s just perfect.

Anyone else sick of this shit?

That’s weird. Both games are EA published games. Which makes the release date of them both even weirder.

I think they’ll eventually patch this but what I’m wondering here is why was this issue not picked up in testing?

Which controller though?

Good post.

Man, these games are creepy af. A big reason why I’m reluctant to tell people I used to watch a few animes myself. Also a reason why I’ve stopped. Can’t be arsed to sift through weird crap like these to get to stuff I like such as Rurouni Kenshin, Slam Dunk, Cooking Master Boy etc.

I was gonna buy this, but now I think I’ll wait for a sale.

Now playing

They even had the “lah” at the end of the sentences that’s common in the speaking mannerism of people in Malaysia and Singapore.

I just want to gripe about the ticket system. Why’ve they gotten rid of it? First time I booted it up, I though the game I was in was ending when in fact it just started.

I booted up Spore immediately after I got my No Man’s Sky refund. I think most people who forked out 60 bucks for NMS played it, were utterly disappointed and thought they could play something similar for less than 10 bucks.

At least the monoliths does more “cool stuff” (to borrow a Sean Murray term) in Spore.

Some animes are creepy in that sense. A big reason why I personally stay away from them nowadays. I am a big fan of games like Tactics Ogre, FF Tactics and Xcom, but couldn’t stomach playing Valkyria Chronicles for even an hour and eventually gave up on it, because of the anime tropes and stylings of the game.

I played No Man’s Sky for about 3-4 hours before I realised the stars were in a skybox, the planets didn’t rotate around it and the elements you find in planets didn’t quite depend on how far it is from their stars.

Stopped at “Former NUFC-fan-turnee-Hammer."

Got the game in GOG, enjoyed the first 4 hours, spent the next 6 hours wondering if that’s all there was, all while the game occasionally CTD’ed on me (usually when I warp to a new system.)

This reminds me of Anno 2070, which I’ve avoided because I don’t want to deal with Uplay.

I was intrigued by the exploration bits of the game, but it was disappointing when I realised when the exploring bits is hampered by the fact that you have to do tedious resource hunting to actually explore.
