The Helen part of this episode was sweet. It was nice seeing Noah and Helen working together and acting as a family. The Noah portion of the episode was very bizarre. I don't know if the scenes where Allison's getting hit by the car is just the ending to his book or maybe something more…?

I like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for everything in the movie that isn't Johnny Depp. It's a shame that he was cast in that, he really brought it down.

It's a shame what happened to this show. I was expecting it to hit the usual Showtime slump eventually, but I didn't expect it to be this early. Lizzy Caplan and Michael Sheen really are the glue holding this ship together. I just hope Penny Dreadful gets a few more seasons in before it falls down the same hole.
