One of my closest friend’s son is at NAS Pensacola. She doesn’t really keep up with the news so she didn’t hear about the shooting. She got a message out of the blue “Mom, I’m safe.” Wondered what was up, got scared for a bit, then relieved, then sad at those who were killed (like all of us).
