Birds of a feather....
So true! Go through sexual assault and then spend an hour or more listening to 45's word salad? It’s like punishment.
I’m involved with a group working to end campus sexual assault (it’s a tall order I know; if I’m not part of the solution, I’m part of the problem...). During our holiday dinner we talked about WJC and Juanita Brodderick (sp?) and the fact that many feminists excused his behaviour at the time. Many of the folks in…
It’s Kilmister. Just the one “e”.
Indeed. His Wiki page is headed “Lemmy”. Just “Lemmy”.
I think I’ve found the new name for my imaginary band: Christmassacres! (with the exclamation mark; no “The”).
Regarding:

I agree: the Electoral College does benefit all politicians (in myriad ways).
And back then there were so few platforms to talk to the public compared to what we have now.
Item #3 was inspired by Canada’s recent election. I recall hearing that the latest Canadian election cycle was something like 75 days and that it was considered long. It really shouldn’t take two years of campaigning for people to make up their minds.
