Pretty sure they live back-to-back rather than across the street, which is way worse. 

I’d watch a mini-series of Kate Winslet reading the phonebook (are those even still a thing?), but she was excellent in this first episode. She always seems to disappear into her characters and I forget that I’m watching a major Oscar winning superstar and that was very much the case with Mare. I rewatched Titanic…

I kind of like this show, but man is it bleak. Almost everyone comes off as a jerk, at best. The only pleasant one is Guy Pearce’s visiting professor, which obviously means he’s the murderer. 

I legitimately wish Cavill had been allowed to be even a fraction of charismatic as he was in Man from UNCLE while playing Superman.

Right? Is was surprisingly wonderful and unexpected. First thing that put Armie Hammer on my radar - shame he turned out to be a legit psychopath. Hard to be too shocked by anything these days, though.

Yeah I know we were never getting a sequel to Man From UNCLE either way, but the Armie Hammer news pretty much is the final nail I guess. Makes me sad, I loved the hell out of that movie.

I was already on-board with this one because of Odenkirk+stylish action scenes but the review makes it sound like really (dumb) fun. I just have a soft spot for these John Wick-style revenge thrillers. Just give me a charismatic/interesting actor/actress wreaking havoc in all sorts of cool ways and I’m sold
