Dwight and Eugene’s refusal to turn on/kill each other is just puzzling. How many people has Dwight probably killed in service to the saviors? He’s willing to almost certainly get dozens to hundreds of his former compatriots killed in a zombie siege, and he’s not going to take out this one dumpy weird guy who knows

Can we all just admit that this show is colossally uneven, ridiculously implausible (and I’m not even talking about the zombies), has a majority of characters that are genuinely unlikable, and we’re only watching it now because we’ve invested - like idiots - so much of our time and we want to see it to its bitter,

I guess some viewers like Eugene, or at least find him intriguing. Not me. Although the Saviors apparently confiscated his cargo shorts, everything else about him (his mumbling, his vacillating, his clumsy, obviously scripted dialog) sends me up the wall. So this episode was not for me at all. And given my assumption

By the time The Walking Dead comes on I am usually pretty lit. I used to think this is why I found myself scrambling during a lot of episodes to figure out what was going on.

Here’s the email for those that didn’t see it...

I was a little skeptical of the kid at first, because for a second I didn’t know if he was a figment of Elliot’s mind or not.

Also I’m really appreciating that the show doesn’t seem to actually be full sci-fi with the “time travel/alternate dimensions” thing. While it’s fun to analyze the allusions to it that’ve been peppered throughout the season, one of the things that I love the most about this show is how grounded it is behind all of the

Do you like TV? Do you like horses? Do you like Wii U? Do you like movies? You don’t own the beach. I don’t know how to do that.

I’m certain we’ve all silently reached a unanimous decision that Trenton’s little brother who was born in Trenton is our child now and from now on we will buy pop tarts in bulk, help him develop a taste in films and groom him to become president.

Just having the Defenders look up at the massive disk/portal thing. (Except Matt, because he doesn’t need to).

So who did Trenton send her dead-man’s-switch email to? Her dad? Darlene?

So is the end game twist that Whiterose ends up as some benevolent time resetter (for reasons), or does all that quantum stuff end up being a red herring, and Elliott along with Mr. Robot end up foiling Whiterose’s world domination plans?

Her talking about how everyone will be okay made me think about that hadron collider that Whiterose and an associate were near in the first episode of the season. I’m wondering if it’s some kind of time machine/quantum entangler thingy, plus the one guy who spoke of alternate universes last season.

Oh, and Angela has totally gone looney toons. It’s truly disturbing.

Whiterose set up Price to fall because he made her ask twice.

I few things I love about the elevator fight in Winter Soldier: it’s not too long, doesn’t overstay its welcome or credibility (I’m looking at you, clip from Man of Tai Chi); it’s not just straight up beatings - when Cap gets his hand stuck to the wall, it raises the stakes, and changes the pace; and it’s the set-up

It’s the matter-factness that Viggo delivers the speech with that completely sells it. “He is creature of focus, commitment, and sheer will. Something you know very little about.”

The scene with Viggo and his son, and the lead up to it (“oh”), is also my favorite part of the movie. Usually the rule is “show don’t tell”, but they do such a masterful, fun job of building up the legend of John Wick that you know everything you need to about this world when all hell breaks loose. The structure of

Really, this issue is about the failure to foster scientific thinking among our students. Had he a proper scientific grounding, Dahmer could have kidnapped four people, drilled holes in three of their heads, and placed boiling water in one person’s head, room-temperature water in another person’s head, and ice water

Agreeance. METALS doesn't get the love that it deserves, and I'm really looking forward to this new one too.
