And in some other countries too, because residency is a commodity for purchase.
You haven’t seen the climate in Vancouver and certain Seattle suburbs?
Uh, yeah.
I’ve seen most of this stuff at the annual Seattle-area Kirkland Concours, for a mere $25, proceeds going to charity. I know it’s a new Belle Epoque, carry on.
Is it possible to succeed in China without being subservient to the state (one part of the definition of totalitarian) or at least towing the party line? Being a dissenter won’t allow one to embezzle enough money to launder in the west coast real estate market.
Ah another brilliant cultural difference we are told enriches the world. These are the things that justify punitive trade policies.
They are just a lot more simple than later cars I guess, and 2003-2010 cars really seem built to a price . I did see a very low mileage final run(2009) 211 E63 P030 car that almost tempted me, but I was in a new lease and couldn’t justify breaking it.
Yep. I have driven in that part of the world, it’s a different galaxy. Traffic is mostly slow and plodding here, and on some 60 mph highways, some drones are more than happy to loaf along at 45-50. I suspect an RX actually exceeding the limit is a rare sight here.
Do 210s rust there? They don’t here on the west coast, but I have seen them dissolve in harsh climates. Door bottoms and wheelarches seem especially vulnerable.
I wouldn’t be surprised. At least it is clean. I have seen a number of x45 cars blowing smoke in a volume that would make my fintail blush. I’ve never really liked these or E60s. The models before and after are a lot more pleasing to me.
I seriously don’t think I have seen one merge at over 50mph, and they do like the left lane, yeah. I think the demographic who loves them isn’t used to answering to anything.
You should visit the Seattle area and see how these are driven. I think they have a 45mph speed governor. Seriously, I keep an eye out for them, something irritating or dumb is bound to happen, just like one should keep an eye out for BMW/Audi/Infiniti/Tesla for erratic irresponsible moves.
You could find a nice 61 Plymouth for a lot less and get the same aesthetic.
I bet it smokes too
Which race are they targeting? Links to examples?
And how many get away with it via their glorified frat?
1500s? uh...
It appears to be in Japanese. The car is also the right age to be a private import into Canuckistan. I’d wager this car came back from Japan, which is the case of a lot of low mileage oddballs north of the border.
My fintail has this too, although if the road has a slightly steep grade, it is more of a “push to make more noise”.
