A runway is only about 2 miles long, probably not long enough to reach top speed and then slow. OTOH getting a permit for a late night closing of the highway, much as is done for some spectacularly large transports, would not be out of the question.

I’ve spent a couple months in Germany. One of the big things that Germans get that Americans don’t is the idea of being an adult.

If the worry is the environmental impact, stunts like the Bugatti don’t even factor. For every Bugatti going 250mph, there are 1,000+ BMWs going 130. In the aggregate, the BMWs are going to be far worse for the environment.

Likely 6 mpg trying to push that brick to 70 mph, but if driving it at 55-60, as high as 8. Rebuild interval depends on maintenance and how hard it’s pushed. Some will go beyond 500k, some might be more like 200k.

That’s just plain wrong my friend. How are better tires worse? Upgraded suspension (I’m not talking about coil overs but a nice set of Bilstein when the original shocks are worn)? Top quality brake rotor and pads?

No.

Fully agree with the first statement, fully disagree with the second. Debadging makes cars look cheap and pretentious all at once. Like a BMW 320i pretending to be a 340. You typically don’t tend to see that on higher trims, either.

Counterpoint, no (unless the vehicle is 15+ years old). Sidewalls are important, they soften the ride and help reduce risks of damaging wheels and tires on typical roads.

Unless you like a comfortable ride.

consider the following: tire upgrade

This engine won’t need rod bearings like an S62 or S54 engine would. But, it will need a ton of other things...

Compared to recent cars ( I am looking at you, BMW,...again) it has become much more friendly to the eye.

I have to give it an NP...

I want to say NP but any BMW with over 100k from this era is going to need a lot of maintenance. Rod bearings anyone? Unless you are BMW fanboy at any price it’s ND.

5 guys?

I prefer my chicken to not taste like oppression, gay conversion therapy, and my impeded civil rights though.

All CFA’s are like that here in the DC area. If you go onto Google Maps and look them up, you will see a line of cars out of the parking lot on just about every one. For instance, the one near my house.

Chick-fil-a by far.

Not in my area. Every single location has a line that loops around the building twice (not exaggerating). They do manage to move it quickly, but it’s still a nightmare most of the time.
