Atlus is my favorite developer ever. I think I’ve purchased almost every one of their titles from the PS2 onwards. I’m still a huge fan of Nocturne and Stella Deus.

Then suddenly BAM.
I live alone, run a business, live in a city with exceptional transport links and the means to get a taxi if absolutely necessary - which it rarely is. The idea that not having a license somehow means you can’t travel is ludicrously bloody stupid.
Depends where you live. I would say in most of the US it’s virtually essential, but there are still plenty of places where there’s good public transit, no cars, prohibitively expensive cars, etc. These places are usually either really big or really small.
That’s.... not a belly button
Sure, but it’s not a conditional requirement for being a man.
Probably yeah, but I have a few friends in/from places like NYC who never drove and never needed to. So I see how it’s not always the biggest deal.
It’s probably useful to know how to operate a motor vehicle.
Step one to increasing your ‘masculinity’ is to give zero fucks what some other person thinks about you, your capabilities or how you spend your time. You get one life - live it the way you want.
Not sure if that’s accurate. Alpha may have had that style but III didn’t really have it and IV definitely did not. If it’s not performing in Japan it’s probably because console sales across all titles are lower in Japan as mobile becomes more popular, in addition to the game not having a presence in Japanese arcades.
pretty huge oversight
I agree but at the same time they were being as self referential as possible without out right breaking the 4th wall. Based on some clips of the mini documentary with the show Noclip they were playing around with how absurd they can make the characters and the story. The background story sounds like something out of…
The Resident Evil 7 one in particular feels like a glaring omission. While Breath of the Wild had the overall bigger splash, coming out of E3 this year the biggest shock was certainly the direction Capcom is taking with Resident Evil 7. I don’t think anyone can say they saw that coming.
The fact that his name is Doom Slayer and yet hospitals are not flooded with gamers who rolled their eyes right out of their sockets is a god damn miracle
Anyone who liked Doom (so basically anyone who played it) should watch this documentary series on how they scrapped Dooom 4 and created one of the best shooters of 2016. Super fun watch. Also, can we just take a moment to admit that this was the year of the first person shooter? But, like, in a good way? Overwatch,…
How much time do your friends have?
You know, I think my absolute favorite thing about Doom is just how much personality the Doom Slayer has, despite never uttering a single word in the game.
Oh my. I think any game you barrel on for 80 hours over two weeks or so you’d be burnt out on.
Everyone I know who bought it has beat it and is patiently awaiting the DLC.
I think a lot of people (like myself) have burned through the game already, and are awaiting DLC. I still have a few end-game activities to complete, but I’ve almost got my platinum at about 80 hours.
