Yea, the tweak to physics has made the game harder. I didn’t struggle this much when I played the first game on PS1 as a kid.

Glad I’m not losing my mind. For a while I was figuring my teenage self in my best friend’s basement was just so strung out on sugar I was a twitch master landing all these nonsense jumps and now I’m too old to bandicoot. Using the d-pad helps a bit, but I’m probably going to pay off my mortgage before I conquer all…
Sliding off the edge after jumping onto another platform is the worst damn feeling in this remaster.
They talk of precision but then you look at the hit boxes and you just laugh.
I beat the first game and some of the second game. The bridge levels are damn awful still, and it doesn’t help that the new physics and hit boxes make this game a lot more frustrating than it should be.
And? Not giving a shit about sk and thinking its garbage is enough reason to be happy the studio is done for?
Instant karma right there.
Your opinion has been duly noted by...... No one.
So, same as every other medium, then.
I mean, the story’s fine - aside from a few little changes it follows the manga fairly closely. There are moments when bits and pieces will be hand-drawn and it looks alright, but the CG is genuinely awful and definitely lessens the emotional impact of a lot of scenes.
It’s the best manga I’ve ever read. The anime doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of what makes Berserk great.
I’ve read the manga up til December last year (When I caught up again). I think it’s still worth a read because even though it falls into the manga traps of “going on forever” and “Battles can last several issues,” there is still a clear feeling of forward motion with the story. The end is not in sight yet, but the…
Open IV shouldn’t have been C&D’d but this one I’m ok with.
I actually think the announcement of a Pokemon RPG coming out on the Switch isn’t that surprising. It’s a bit of an inevitability: there’s little reason to think that Nintendo’s going to put out a new portable that won’t just be a different form factor of the Switch and there’s little reason to think they won’t keep…
I highly doubt it, and I’m old enough to not be an optimist, but there’s still a shred of light in me that hopes Shadow of the Colossus features some of the cut content.
I’m almost certain Sony got an exclusive Spidey game as part of the deal to bring the character into the MCU.
No other Spider-Man game was published by Sony. It isn’t bullshit, it’s business.
Fun Fact: The combat in Arkham was a smoother, more advanced version of the combat from Spider-Man 2.
Didn’t look scripted. The hud was there and all, it looked like you had to chase the helicopter as in most ‘follow the objective’ sequences in games.
Combat/stealth is a bit Arkham-y. I dig it.
