There has been a ton of backlash to people who say they don’t enjoy the new movie based on its own merits, and have said it pales in comparison to the original, and then in turn get slammed for being sexist.

I think you’re missing the point. They didn’t enjoy the new reboot/re-imagining/whatever it is, in comparison to the classic original.
Right. If I am a long time fan of an artist (say, David Bowie) and I have fond memories of listening to their work, and then I find out they did some bad things in their life, that changes how I feel about those memories. Because the human mind is a thing that changes over time, both physically and mentally.
You are taking it too literally, when people say that something “ruined their childhood.” they mean that the memory of something they valued as children is now tainted by the that something, and memories are not static, they are quite dynamic.
I....am I missing something? I get told I should smile in my pics plenty of times and I don’t see it as sexist, insulting, whatever.
“...demanding a level of competence and consideration from players that I’m not sure the game itself delivers.” Yet you allude to the lag in dash being on purpose, and the parry is consistent but unforgiving. So it IS a competent game. The only thing you actually point out as a flaw is the repetitive dialogue. Reading…
But what makes it ok for women to say it to men then? Because if you say it’s diminutive and sexist when said to women but not men that’s pretty hypocritical.
You should take your own advice. It’s pretty common to tell someone they look grumpy in a picture when they actually do. Regardless of gender. So maybe cool it with the hyper sensitivity.
While I found what you said cringey you didn’t deserve the wall of white knights and 3rd waves that came crawling out of the woodwork.
Woopsie, thou hast insulted the SJW deities, prepare to feel the full force of their love and tolerance.
On a related note, this game sounds dumb. I hate games that make a big deal about how hard they are and try to make you feel like crap for being a regular person. I mean, some people like these kind of…
I liked it, but I felt this one was better that they posted on Wednesday:
I recently saw some of the gratuitous Quiet scenes in action. Then I saw the trailer for the Naked-Norman-Reedus-with-oil-baby game.
As long as you’re still having fun with the achievements and it’s not a chore/work for you is there really anything wrong with it? I’ve played plenty of games where once I’ve finished it once I’m done. And others where I’m still so into it, that I want to do/see everything. Much like how you Platinum trophied…
To be fair, a lot of PC kiddies don’t know how to change characters either. The game doesn’t exactly encourage it at the moment, the way it handles POTG and end game cards.
Nah, the reason the damage reduction is happening is that even with sensitivity cranked up the turn speed is still slower than a mouse so you can’t react to where the turret is nearly as fast, or change direction to get out of its line of sight.
This whole thing is frankly a bunch of kids who aren’t informed enough about actual recent American history but who are overly informed about the very recent and obscure history of GamerGate.
Uhhhh, nixon got impeached. That’s pretty much ruining his career.
