You have the toxic fandom that refused to accept anything that varied from their own head-canon or the Legends (old EU) books. They could never accept the old Luke we saw.

The weirdest thing I’m seeing are fan theories that the S2 finale of Mandalorian effectively wipes out the sequel trilogy, that somehow by having badass young Luke show up and take Grogu as his apprentice (ward?), Episodes VII-IX are rendered invalid and retconned from the saga.
Colbert made a good point the other day when he said “Remember when you had whole days when you didn’t think about the President?”
If America can still be saved, it will be saved by the nerds.
Well, now I have a new go-to fantasy to play out in my head next time I see another maskless cretin at the grocery store.
AMERICA! should LOVE this, because:
Right. Engineers are busy driving the train.
Fun fact. USB “thumb drives” are the least secure things in the world. They typically consist of a flash memory chip and a controller chip. The controller chip is a small computer that can be programmed to lie. About anything. It can lie about the capacity. It can lie about the data that is on the flash chip. It can…
Must be nice to have a functional government. And functional citizens.
And then cast Ron Perlman, of course.
I just hope they keep the goofy, strange black humor that makes Fallout so fun. Don’t make it just another generic post-apocalyptic movie.
God I loved this show. Perilously, I have high hopes.
I have hope this will turn out alright. The last time they relaunched it, MTV didn’t really seem to know what to do with the show anymore. IIRC, they put it in fucking god awful time slots that basically set it up to fail. Maybe Comedy Central will handle it better.
After Knives Out surprised success, I have hope they are open to it.
From my understanding they had no problem with his take on the film but got SUPER scared after the Russian bots attacked the film online.
He hasn’t been too hard on disney/Lucasfilm in public from what I’ve seen.
Bless this man. I hope Disney commits to his trilogy.
I love what they are doing this season on Agents of SHIELD and the new opening credits for each time period they visit. I feel like they are taking some unacknowledged inspiration from the freewheeling fun of Legends of Tomorrow. (Is Enoch their Mick? I need to think about that)
It’s really short, but then again most of Levin’s books were super-quick reads. He wasn’t like King or Straub, cranking out these massive epics. I think they pretty much adapted Rosemary’s Baby word for word. Sliver was only about 150 pages and I remember thinking that it would be a pretty decent movie; unfortunately…
Sousa has been a great addition to Agents of SHIELD. I hope that he rethinks what he told them last week, that the current time they are visiting would be his “last stop.” Really, the 1970s?? There are better times to stay in. Basically any time after that, other than 2020, which you should avoid if at all possible
There was Sliver, but that was a piece of crap. The Ira Levin novel was slightly better (and rather prescient).
