I've seen them twice live, myself. I'm sure it's going to be a very bittersweet tour. I'm hoping to drive up and see one of the shows, though. The closest one to me is Winnipeg, which is nine hours away, but I'm willing to drive up the day before the show and get a hotel. Since I won't get another chance to see my

Sending love and support to your family. Gord Downie is to me, what Bowie and Prince were to their fans. The Hip are my favorite band and they're music has been the soundtrack to my life for almost a decade now.

Saw the Hip on my 21st birthday in Chicago a few years ago. I waited outside in the cold after the show and I was lucky enough to meet Gord. He was such a cool and nice guy. It was really a big deal for me. He's one of my idols. I've looked up to the guy since I was in high school and the Hip's music has really helped

Blade Runner. It did absolutely nothing for me other than looking pretty.

Agents of Shield got renewed for a fourth season about a month ago.

It's surprising how much of it is more relevant today than when it was made. Also, Meat Loaf fights a car. It's fantastic. They showed it at B-Fest this year. Easily one of the biggest highlights of the entire fest. It was so much fun with that crowd.

It comes down to The Raid 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Lego Movie for me.

Friday: I rented Life Itself off of Google Play. Absolutely loved the film. One of the year's best. Then I watched an episode of MST3K, The Thing That Couldn't Die, which was great.

I adore Wits. Been to three tapings and they are a blast. The Andy Richter and Reggie Watts show was fantastic. Also Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett usually show up and perform in some of the skits.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 will always remain the best to me.

I really wish that Inside Llewyn Davis had gotten more nods. It was one of my favorites of last year. I've seen all nine of the best picture nods, so I guess I'll share my thoughts on them.

The World's End was my favorite film of last year.

I write for a newsletter that goes out to a lot of people each month in Madison, WI. I write movie reviews for it. Not many famous people deaths upset me in the way that Ebert's one did. He is the sole reason that I started writing movie reviews and he will always be one of my biggest influences.
