Pascal seems to mirror Timothy Olyphant, in that he’s a huge goof that nevertheless plays a lot of fairly serious characters, nearly to the point of typecasting. Both of them are probably funnier than most currently working comic actors.

Mr. Coppola.
i’m not entirely sure ‘more casual Cage fans who know him mainly from stuff like Leaving Las Vegas and Moonstruck’ exist in 2022. wouldn’t the ‘casual fans’ ONLY know him from the memes and not 30 year old movies?
So glad to see this might actually be good. Pedro Pascal playing off of Cage-doing-an-impression-of-Cage? I’m ready to … PISSSSSSSSS…BLOOOOOOOOOD!!!!
Which part of the franchise is “shackled” to the theme park experience?Say what you want about HP and JKR (and there’s a LOT to say) but the Harry Potter areas at Universal Orlando are impressive as hell.
The rides are technical feats of achievement; the merchandise is overpriced of course, but it’s all pretty…
Y’know what was the most satisfying moment in Deathly Hallows Part 2?
It wasn’t defeating Voldemort or Neville being awesome (well okay it was a little of that), it was Harry telling Aberforth: “I don’t care what happened between you and your brother.” THANK YOU.
Dumbledore not stopping the most dangerous dark wizard of…
The Pirates movies ruined him as a natural actor. I actually thought he was really good in Black Mass, but for some damn reason they had to try to make him look like an exaggerated caricature of Whitey Bulger. Who no one outside Boston could pick out of a lineup anyway.
Apparently they did reach out to Farrell to get him to return but he couldn’t make it due to scheduling conflicts (namely The Batman).
I remember a groan in the theater when it turned out Farrell was Depp in disguise.
I love Mads Mikkelsen and would never complain about his inclusion in anything, but I still don’t really understand why they couldn’t just change him back into Colin Farrell. Wouldn’t that have made more story sense than him turning suddenly into a completely different man with a thick eastern European accent?
These films are completely unnecessary, but they still could have been, y’know... good. The first one was mostly fine, but they made the terrible mistake of replacing Colin Farrell with Johnny Depp at the end. Why not just use Colin Farrell? I get that Grindelwald was in disguise, etc, but throwing Depp into the mix…
Did they really have to cast Ealgl Snoret in this?
“Apatow hasn’t lost his sense of humor, just his sense of pacing”
There’s no other explanation. That’s exactly where I put the blame when I ate the entire pint of ice cream last night. The devil has a nasty sweet tooth, and I’m paying the consequences... or do I?
To quote Almodóvar: The devil, in fact, doesn’t exist.
Imagine waiting months to go see Kimmel in person only to get the “dorky giggling boyfriend.”
definitely a shame. was interested that apatow was stepping out of his wheelhouse, but it seems like he works best in that wheelhouse for a reason.
(a disheveled David Duchovny, seemingly made up/down to resemble Apatow).
“and feels more disappointing after two years of anticipation for its release.” Serious question, was ANYONE anticipating this one? Like, if by anticipation you mean that people were aware it had been delayed and mildly curious when it would manage to get a full release, sure. But anticipating it? Excited to watch it?…
Honestly I had been so mad that my favorite movies weren’t winning, but after this...I mean, who can take it seriously? It’s high camp.
