Personally, I liked most of the season (it was neat how the threads worked together after a while), but honestly the multiple scenes of El in the tank were somehow more boring than her detour with the other special kids. You really have to turn your brain off to enjoy this show, which I mostly can, so I’ve found this season to be decent so far. The show pretty much lives or dies on having some engaging character interactions and the occasional surprisingly well acted scene to keep you invested. Sink has been a standout.

Thus far it feels like an improvement over the third. I don’t mind the episodes being longer because it this American horror story is coherent & engaging.
