I wonder the same, seeing his tropes progress in truly common ways. Only if a person didn’t read a book, watch a film or play a game can she her or him consider him original.

I think the greatest power of the Night King is that he’s smart, opposed to Jon, who’s a bit dumb.

She killed a slave, Drogo was already brain dead when she killed him with a pillow.

I think nothing exemplifies better the soup of tropes that is GoT than the Night King’s associated plot.

Provided one of them, either Daenerys or Jon, might be the hero they’re waiting for, taking in account the first guy sacrificed himself by killing his wife (no comments) in order to have a mighty penis with which to kill the NK, it’s sensible to think either one of them might have to kill the other.

You’re a watching a series heavily featuring incest, though. Thinking about the parentage, etc, wouldn’t be that odd.

Normally, in soap operas, it’s very common to show a scene that would only make sense if someone - normally the person being fooled - was watching.
