Hang on there sport. My post wasn’t a rag on the car itself. My dad has a 99 300M that was a great car until 63000 miles, then it started to fall apart. Literally. Door handles, headliner trim, seat control buttons decided to stop doing their jobs all at once.

2012-2013 Boss302. Got to drive one back in the day and it’s always stuck with me as a great handling vehicle, even with the old-school rear suspension. I’ve driven the GT350 and while it’s amazing, it didn’t feel as lithe and connected as the Boss. I would probably see the difference if I was on a track, but back…

If these numbers are accurate, the market is going to be WAY off this year.

If the answer isn’t a Miata, the next logical choice is a Focus ST.

I know. Too bad they can’t give you $50 and remove it from the older models. 

There are few people that can trash something so epically and make it sound like poetry. John Davis is one of them.

The removal of the auto stop/start from cars due to the chip issue has been a blessing from this nonsense of a pandemic.  

Never thought I would say this about a Hyundai, but this is a really good looking vehicle. It’s a great job of bringing what everyone thinks future cars design will be going to without being overwrought and too “futuristic”.

Since several people have already said Volvo (correct answer, BTW), the next best seats were in Saabs. Ultra comfortable with just the right amount of bolstering to keep you from flopping around. 

That keypad is a great option to have if you use it. There’s been many times we’re out in my wife’s Escape and I’ve had to get into it with no keys on hand. 

His brother-in-law already beat him to it.

My dad had a Datsun 1200 wagon when he was in med school. It is the only car he has owned that he talks about with any real affection towards.

1998 Pontiac Grand Am: Big POS, but my first taste of freedom as a teenager. Had it until 2005 when a lady ran a stop sign and t-boned it. Sold it to the dad of one of my fraternity brothers who rebuilt it and drove it for another 4 years. Hasn’t been registered since 2009.
