The closest he’s gotten is the 1:18 scale model I bought him 25 years ago for Christmas. He still displays it in his home office to this day.

Why did I have to scroll so far to see a 7.3 listed? Isn’t this like the second engine after the LS that people have sex dreams about?

My dad helped me finance my first two cars (at 18 and 22). I made the payments, and along with a credit card, I had a strong credit score leaving college that it let me get my first apartment on my own at 25, buy a house at 28 and 3 other cars since.
Being from PA myself, this checks out.

Sort of. They owned some really cool cars over the years that were more appliances to them, but they usually bought interesting versions of said appliances. I think it was more that people me that were more into cars, namely my uncles that had cool Mercedes and Jag convertibles, plus collector cars and modified…

Pretty much spot-on. Dealers don’t care if they have to hold onto them for a minute until they’re completed. If they’re on the lot, they’re much easier to sell.
That’s exactly what they’re doing.
