Passat SEL TDI. Decent luxury, well built, 40+ MPGs and TORQUE.

Why do I want these so badly?

Don’t ever change David.

I’ve seen some escorts brazen enough to ride in opposite lanes, which forces people to stop. Don’t know if that’s legal or not, but I’ve seen it.

Honestly, it’s just common courtesy that’s missing. Everyone seems to only cares about themselves and will do pretty much whatever they want without much consideration for others. I know I’m guilty of it at times (BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT!), but I do try to be nice to other drivers, and most are appreciative of it.

That’s pretty common most places I’ve seen. At least in Ohio, they have people that will run ahead and stop traffic for the procession.

The audible, deep-intake of breath whenever there’s some cause for “alarm”. Such as, a small child on a bike riding along the sidewalk four blocks away that I can see. Or, a car turning left in front of my car.... a quarter-mile down the road.

I really shouldn’t have laughed at this comment.....

1st Gear: No shit it was up 53% over last March. No one bought anything except toilet paper at that time. Of course you’ll see a big jump when it starts at basically zero.

Thankfully my company has finally agreed to pay for my gas in my work car. It’ll suck to fill up our personal cars ($41 to fill up my wife’s crossover now compared to $28 6 months ago), but at least some of my family’s driving costs are covered.

1st: With Rimac owning a big chunk of Bugatti, could this cause values of these vehicles to drop in the future since Rimac is nowhere near as big/well known at VW?

I used to sit on my dad’s lap when I was around 6 and steer our gray-on-silver 1986 Jeep Cherokee through the two-track roads around our cabin in rural Maryland in his . He handled the pedal work. It was the best: Windows down, jamming to Starship on cassette, doing laps through the woods. It is one of the best

Good point. I guess it’s the “lesser of two evils” in this case. I don’t know if they could clear the streets for the truck and get it out of the city. <shrugs> Armchair thinking.

Of any time I’ve been in a car, there were two times that I was geninuely scared.

One was when I was 13 and I rode in my uncles modified 1971 De Tomaso Mangusta. Rolled out in second gear and it was like we were strapped to a rocket. Slammed third and I couldn’t pull my head off the seatback. I rode in it again a few

Seems strange that their protocols allow them to detonate them in a residential neighborhood. I mean, I get the idea that they have to destroy them and that they trusted their truck to do its job properly, but it seems nuts that they would still set it off right next to houses.

Smart ForTwo
Any dually gas-engined truck.

Pretty sure I blacked out trying to figure out everything in that first picture.

Agreed on the Jaguar. That thing is just stunning. I don’t think I’ve seen one in silver. It’s usually black or BRG (the latter being a suitable second choice).

I wish I was able to convince my parents to invest in winter tires earlier on in my driving life. Would’ve saved myself and family members from having at least 4 different accidents.
