How have I not seen this until now??
Driving is just as bad now as it was pre-pandemic. However, I want to know why everyone is driving around with their brights on. Did I miss a new road rule? I mean, this is in a suburban area, other cars around, street lights, buildings, etc. BRIGHT LIGHTS!
I want to like it because I love the looks and it’s basically a bargain Ferrari, but I’m with everyone else: single-clutch gearbox = ND. I haven’t driven every single car with this transmission, but the several I’ve tried have been awful. Maybe since it’s a high-performance car it’s something you live with, but it’d…
My cool uncle had a Mangusta for 25 years. I got to ride in it once back in the mid-90s. He said he loved the sound and the looks, but it was so sketchy to drive. He didn’t want to take me in it until my relentless bugging as a young child finally broke him.
It was nuts! He was going probably 40 mph, but it felt like…
I don’t know, I think I’d enjoy a Contour wagon. (#7). Throw on some SVT bits.
Still a beautiful sight.
They do? I’m guessing it’s just in the base model. My dream would be the 6 with the new turbo engine and a manual.
I’d say Mazda. Has a Mazda3 for a decade before my ST. Fun vehicle and very reliable considering I beat the crap out of it. NE winters started to eat away at the body. Was about to get a 14 MS3, but liked the ST better. Plus Mazda fought me on two warranty claims I filed in the beginning. Do like their SUVs and you…
You’re 100% correct. A minivan is the most capable vehicle out there. My in-laws have an Odyssey. We go anywhere together, we can pile people and/or crap in it and go on our merry way. We’ve fit so much crap in the back of that thing it’s not even funny.
Very true. I don’t know if it’s pure luck or the fact that most of them are thrashed at autocross/track days makes them better? Who knows.
Yes! I know several people with various 500s and they all say they’ve been pretty reliable. Couple issues here or there, but overall solid, fun cars. Even the Abarths.
I’d be a little leery about that warning light (SRS? Can’t tell.), but for $2k, it’s still a very good deal.
I think the seller put the comma in the wrong spot.
Yes I do and everyone thinks I’m nuts for doing so.
Jeep Trackhawk. Yes, it’s got all the safety nannies, but something with such a high center of gravity should not be that fast.
I honestly don’t know why this one. I think it was the commercial.
Hope it has a new Lower Intake Manifold gasket on it or say goodbye to $600 right away.
Before I left on road trips back in the day, I’d channel my inner Bo and play this on my iPod.
Still ones of the best cars I’ve ever piloted. Plenty of power, great engine, manual transmission, just enough nannies to keep you on the road and still able to fit the car seats in the back.
