I’ve had just the opposite experience. Noise canceling headphones filtered out all the white noise of the airplane so I could CLEARLY hear the crying baby.  I turned them off while the baby was awake and back on once he fell asleep.

This is really a problem of the airlines’ own doing.  By charging to check bags they’re basically begging us to drag everything on board - and as much of it as we can.  Can you imagine if your first checked bag was free but each carry-on was $20?  This article wouldn’t even be necessary.

When we were looking for streaming TV service, we went with Hulu Live TV because their search was good, even better than YouTube TV. (C’mon Google, how’d you get beat on search?) The Hulu LTV interface (at least on Roku) requires a lot of clicks to get where you want but the search is the best we’ve seen.
