I just did this a couple of weeks ago when I found a price-reduction code. I emailed them a nice email saying, "I *just* got the product yesterday and today this code came out 'xyz'. Would you refund me the difference pretty please?" Next day I had an email that said, we refunded you the value of the code.

I'm going to save me $5 off a puppy!

Why is there a puppy in the Amazon ad? Amazon sells approximately 6 bazillion products and they show one of the few things they DON'T sell. Cute? Yes. Relevant? No.

I use a tube of chapstick. Maybe squeezing every last bit of toothpaste out of the tube is more common than we thought.

Pretty slick. I always run into that problem when I'm pasting into Evernote - it takes all the formatting with it. Then I have to figure out how to remove the formatting... I know it's a button... is it this button - nope... is it this one - nope. Then I undo-undo-undo, paste it into gvim, copy it and paste it into

4 day experience?!? Did you pick yours up in the store? I ordered two and 4 days later they've only gone 600 miles. At this rate, I'm hoping they can cover the other 2000 miles before Christmas.

Damn... using it now and consuming a whopping 15MB of memory. Years ago I bought an iPhone and HAD to use that cesspool of humanity-hate known as iTunes. That crapper would gobble 2GB of memory and I had to install 3rd party apps to get some stuff working. Once my 2yr agreement was up, I bought an Android phone and

On a related note, (in Portland, OR), if we're going on a long trip we actually stay at an airport hotel the night before. Most of them allow you to leave your car in their lot if you book a night. If we're gone more than a week, the cost of one night at the hotel is cheaper than long-term parking. Plus, we're just

MotoG: 4.5in, 720x1280, 329ppi, 1.2GHz x4, 1GB, 16GB, $200

But the Surface 2 is only 208ppi while the Nexus 7 and iPad are both 260+. Plus, the Nexus 7 and iPad both have 5MP cameras with 1080p capture compared to the Surface's 1MP 720p. Obviously we should be comparing the Nexus 7 and iPad because they have some random statistics that rule out your tablet du jour. Then

So in an Android thread, you thought it helpful to start throwing Surface vs. iPad comparisons? I'm pretty sure @Moon is comparing Surface to Android, duh.
Nexus 7 (2013): $229
Kindle Fire HD: $139
That's a huge price difference.

Giz review of Nexus 5:

If you like the mobile version of Gmail, you can use it from your desktop browser by going to:

Google's blog post doesn't say "old phones", it says "lower-end phones", specifically phones available in emerging markets. In Asia, Series40 is running on 20% of phones and in Africa Android is still second to Series40 which has 35% market share. If Google can get the hardware down to where a phone is a commodity
