If you print with an inkjet printer, the children won't be able to use markers (the printer ink smears) but crayons and colored pencils will work fine.

Using a native app to download and only supporting one mobile OS is a knock against Amazon but not a knock against iTunes? If you're going to list a native app as a con, leaving iTunes out of the discussion is an egregious mistake.

Mmmm, carcass broth.
Ya but the kids aren't really into cognac. Wussies.
My question exactly. I could see if they cached your files so you didn't go over the transfer limit, but they don't even do that.
Unbelievable that those Android downloads include free shipping!
Very attractive, very functional. I think pictures are quicker to "read" at a glance as compared to 'show', 'tell', 'play', etc. but the screen isn't loaded with them so I'm sure the locations of the folders get saved into muscle memory more than actually reading the folder names.

"Kindle Fire owners worried that their apps will come from the Amazon Appstore instead of the Android Market can breathe a little easier..." cause your apps WON'T be coming from the Android Market. Wait, why am I breathing easier? If I wanted a walled garden there's already another tablet on the market that does…
I really liked mintty but it's funny way of buffering output via pipes was really a deal breaker. Using Console2 now.
Maybe your line of business is different but I haven't found an ISV (other than Google) that supports Chrome. All of them say it changes too rapidly and users aren't notified of updates which makes it near impossible to support in a corporate environment.
I had that problem when I first installed it and the solution is hidden in the wrong spot. Go into the widget settings (by default, touch the right edge of the widget), Appearance -> Skin -> and select one of the "Multiple events" skins.
