I always liked to drain the noodles then add the seasoning. Much more flavor that way.

Agreed. I was pissed at first when the RSS icon disappeared but once I found it in the bookmarks menu/manager I realized it's not that bad. I don't subscribe to RSS feeds THAT often and I think the added URL real estate is worth the loss of the convenient icon.

iTunes is the #1 reason I jumped shipped and upgraded to Android.

...and then all you have to do is write an application that does the skimming! You're right, that's much easier than buying a ready-made solution off the 'net.

A previous [lifehacker.com] post recommended against making your bed. So I don't. Problem solved.

Noticed that too. Now I can justify to my wife why I NEED to get the Moto Atrix!

We have this problem with robins in the spring. My hack was to temporarily cover the problematic widows with window screen (a little white duct tape at the top and bottom holds it in place). Once they've all found nests, they don't seem to be a problem any more. Take down the screens, roll them up and save them for

I did something similar in the entertainment center. I just bought a $10 AC/DC multi-voltage adapter, spliced in some old case fans and voila! it's breezy and quite. Some computer parts manufacturers also make super-quiet fans if you have a discernible ear.

Jailbreak and you can have it back. ;-)

I'm trying to like the new format but that comment was pretty damn funny.

Do you know if these automated installs include the crapware that a lot of the freeware installs typically include (Bing toolbar, Yahoo toolbar, etc.)?

@McGoogles: I was a hard-core user of Active Desktop. You didn't really have widgets like the Win7 gadgets. You could point your background to a web page and write JavaScript (and probably ActiveX) into the page. For example, I remember my desktop had a clock, calendar, weather satellite pic and random backgrounds.

@Brisky: I'm with AtomFury on this one. When I put bread in the fridge the distribution of moisture in the bread gets all fouled up. The bottom of the loaf gets hard and the top gets soft. I tried rotating it every day but it's still not as good as just leaving it in the cabinet.

Funny when you consider the iPhone has poor penetration in Asia and the BlackBerry has basically no penetration in Africa.

Save the files to Dropbox! They're easier to edit than files hosted on a web server. If you put them in a public folder, you can use a "public link" to see them anywhere.
