I’ve driven both the base first-gen Cayenne and the v8 Touareg. In my opinion, the Cayenne is a much better car. The two may share the same parts, but the assembly and tuning makes it a much different car to drive.

I think this car will sell close to asking price. Many of my 20-something peers seem to have a genetic affinity for these machines. In fact, a 24 year-old co-worker of mine just bought a B6 S4... It has 75k miles and has never had the timing chain replaced. I tried to warn him but my efforts were futile.
Agreed. Although they’re undoubtedly cool, the maintenance is not. As painful as it may be, I avoid any older Audi with an “S” badge like the plague.
