Fights Like A Cow

In the last place my girlfriend and I lived, if my cat heard anyone other than us coming up the stairs he would run into the bedroom growling. I don't think this was him being protective, though, it seemed more like he was going "ugh, there's other people out there again."

I probably have as well, just a beyond incredible record. Can are one of those bands I can never get enough of.

Can, mostly.

I saw them live a couple years ago, and eagerly awaited hearing The Bleeding Heart Show. When they got to the hey las was when I abruptly realized that Kurt Dahle was no longer in the band. I couldn't help being a little disappointed with the new guy after that.

Check out Tobacco from BMSR's solo material as well. Great stuff.

Check out Klaus Schulze if you haven't already. Something like Timewind or Moondawn might be just what you're looking for. I would even suggest going for one of his La Vie Electronique releases. Each one is a triple-disc set stuffed right full of music, so there's hours of material to sift through.

I mostly remember the over-the-top death animations. I don't know how many times I had to watch Lara desperately claw at the pointy log suddenly erupting from her throat.

She is, but she's a minor character. She's the girl running around the party trying to get everyone to sign her yearbook.

I painstakingly organize my books by a process known as "wherever they will fit on my haphazardly overstuffed shelves" because I'm a monster.

I had one that said "Hi. I don't care. Thanks."

You live, you learn.

Freddy Krueger wrapped in leather?

That's what I've heard as well. It does read very much like a first draft.

Finished:

I like to tell this terrible joke about Dave Coulier becoming the frontman for Alice In Chains.

I can't do more than one book at a time. I just end up getting more invested in one over the other and finishing that one.

I recently did a rewatch of the good Office seasons and then thought I might as well watch it all and give the later seasons a second chance. I got to the "sab-ray" song and that was the exact moment I realized I really didn't want to continue.

Bowie did!

Somewhat related to the concept of celebrities looking like themselves, I always liked that little joke in 11 that after the poker lesson, there's a horde of people rushing in to get autographs from Topher Grace and Joshua Jackson, while characters played by George Clooney and Brad Pitt slip through completely

I did this as well. Between Samuel being disappointed in you and the various service staff at the Hound Pits being massacred, the high chaos ending is quite a downer. "Oh, the only person who has been loyal to me the entire game thinks I'm a huge piece of shit now. Great."
