The Fighting Photons

Seriously, this should be taught in journalism schools. Perfectly edited and exactly the right way to deal with manipulative interviewees.

Now I’m stuck on the idea of someone trying to cut tile with a knife...

Damn! I love it when they lay the smack down. Once, out at the range, a visiting officer commented on how there were "so many women out here." There were exactly four of us. We pretty much just rolled our eyes and were like "Yes, sir."

According to the New York Daily News article: “The social network initially declined to take the photo down because it believed the graphic image was posted as a call for help from the victim, not the killer.

It’s not just Facebook, but American culture in general. Hyper-violence in movies and TV with little to no consequence? No problem.

Fucking bullshit facebook. Get your shit together.

“By the end it’s hard to really engage in the narrative when you’re being assaulted with enough imagery to make you wish you had your own mirror to escape through.”

In other news I’m about to make a birthday cake for my boss with a cute little piggy on top. Her daughter emailed me last minute and asked since she had seen some of my cakes on Instagram. It’s going to be almond cake with roasted cherries and whipped cream filling with chocolate ganache on top.

Yes, my husband’s mild emotional abuse became extreme after we had our child and I suffered horrible postpartum depression. He would claim to be doing everything “right” and get angry when I didn’t start getting better immediately. I became a symbol to him of his failure and he hated me for that.

This guy’s lawyer says: “It’s very rare that someone is involved in a homicide case with someone they just had a baby with.”

Says his divorce attorney Ronald Richards, “Him being violent is so uncharacteristic of the person I’ve known for many years.”The classic line of all friends, acquaintances and family of abusive people. FFS will someone just accept that you don’t know what is going on behind closed doors and that someone you may like

Here’s what’s interesting to me... I think it CAN be done, but it has to be supported by the public. Or more precisely the public has to have their voices heard.

“The feminist staples of abortion, reproductive rights and equal pay continue to motivate female voters. But men are voting differently than women because of their dissatisfaction with job and wage competition from illegal immigrants”

Dilma was a shitty president. The charges against her were trumped up, but the process was legitimate.

There are some pretty revolting men around, that’s for sure.

This. Say what you will about Mike Huckabee or Ted Cruz, but they are not leading the country and never will.

Today I read an article about a Korean woman who was stabbed to death by a man who hates women. He admitted he felt ‘ignored’ by women. The comments to that article? You’d think those men were being paid to deny misogyny exists. Everything from ‘mental illness’ to ‘women these days’ were trotted out for reasons at to

This is a global problem and one that people continue to ignore. They blame sex positive attitudes, lack of morals and “risky” behavior anything besides MISOGYNY. That the rapists feel brazen enough to post on social media tells you everything about how much of non criminal act they believe rape to be.

“making her the first self-made female billionaire”? Oprah (of Oprah fame) and Doris Fisher (GAP founder) were billionaire looooong before Elizabeth Holmes. I think you meant “youngest.”

And nothing of value was lost. You can’t really complain about the loss of “value” when that peak valuation was insane and unjustified in the first place.
