Once, I swear to God, I was told that I wasn’t really black because black people put a lot of cream cheese on their bagels and I don’t. I swear to God.

I'm going to see that in my nightmares.

I'm a little embarrassed that reading the word 'nude' made me giggle for the first couple of paragraphs.

*sees grills*

Yeah, the Thicke thing was weird. It was like they were trying to find something to criticize about the performance that wasn't the sexual nature, but rather than latch on and discuss the serious issue of cultural appropriation they kind of floundered into blaming Robin Thicke.

Where would we be without trolls to teach us how the world works?

Yeah, I took it that way too. Yay cynicism!

robin thicke looks like that semi-wealthy guy who lives on the end of your street and always asks you how school’s going and if your sister’s 18 yet.

Wait, Rupert Grint and I have the same birthday? Score!

I very much agree with this. I'll admit that I used to gasp when I'd hear another woman say she's not a feminist (though clearly supporting ideals that I personally found feminist). It's a hard thing to realize that pointing at these women and shrieking at them is just another form of bullying, and why the fuck are we

And commies. And Mossad commies.

My reaction to that.

Ledger's performance was amazing, but I hate the Nolan Joker design.

Personally these guys sound more like Omicron Males to me:

Are you reading the Batman Beyond comics? They're great. There's also Justice League Beyond, which has an issue that resolves the John Stewart/Hawkgirl/Vixen triangle.

I was praying for that with Bale.

I will swear up down and sideways that Batman: MotP is the best theatrically released Batman movie of all time.

For me it's Mask of the Phantasm, Return of the Joker, and Under the Red Hood. While there is no Mark Hamill, John DiMaggio is a damn good Joker, and Jensen Ackles absolutely kills it as Jason Todd.

Yes. I also think that rather than put Warner Brother execs who know nothing about comics in charge, they should just put all of the DC Universe in the creative control of Timm and Dini. They would find a way to make old fans happy and successfully bring in new readers at the same time!
