Just finished Kara no Kyoukai. Pretty much upernatural noir, but the movie "Paradox Spiral" made me pause several times just to take in the shock. reminded me a lot of Watchmen actually, not reveal wise.

I still swear out loud occasionally with the reveal of Laurie's father. Real shame the impact didn't translate in the movie.

I've been neutral about this show, but this was the first episode where I wished I could fast forward. Mostly character interactions, particularly hacker chick and GI Joe trying to set up some sort of Jeff/Britta dynamic, but the magician and his handler and the science handler lacked a lot of chemistry as well.
