@oyumurtaci: Variables become too numerous to make any kind of educated guess. Thrown free of the car doesn't equal thrown to safety. Motorcycle accident data is pretty much what you're looking for; we're almost always thrown clear of the bike, but often problems come when your body hits something else.

@blowntranny: Whoa, he even has his badge on a chain. I thought that was just a movie thing...

@Baby beater Benz: I definitely see your point. Often, when something bad happens related to something I enjoy (responsibly and competently), I brace myself for the backlash in the vein of 'Won't someone think of the children!' It's just such a grand opportunity for someone to step up and look super-righteous in

@Dru: I wouldn't be surprised if it actually was part of the aero design in order to disrupt the draft from the squared trunk lid.

@stoke 2.0: You'll have to produce a study that states that local flora and fauna will not be unreasonably disturbed by the 24/7 gnashing of babies in the grinder and de-boning sections of the factory.

You may as well tell people you're building a baby-grinding factory when you say you want to install a race track somewhere. It's really hard to get the zoning.

I suspect foul play. Are there massive burn-out marks from a CTS-V nearby? Did anyone see a silver-maned gentleman in the area?

@vavon205: I always wondered what that barcode was. I thought it was just a symbol for some kind of Italian racing thing.

@GTRbrian: This idea is very Manifesto of Awesome.

@this_is_my_screen_name: This is what I always expected, since even when they were new, I'd see tons of New Beetles with headlights or tailights out. How can a car stay together when something as simple as the lights don't function right?

@invincible-delta-88: Audis have a similar meter, though the result is automatically doubled by the computer.

@Nieros: Your statement is what I think the design of the current Mustang is. Edit: Actually, to clarify, I think the Mustang's design is the cheap imitation part.

@LTDScott: Uncouth braggarts and knaves.

@CatSplat: They may get docked points for having a car that can regenerate damage on the fly.

@FightingChance: S2 engine still going through FIA technical hurdles.

@FightingChance: The car after this one will be more reliable in general, but not as strong. The car before this one never quite ran right.

Car only works for 5 minutes once out of the paddock.
