@Guru Smooth: Marketing is definitely the sole responsibility of each territory. In fact, I bet the game creators dislike it as well, but have 0 control over those aspects.

@AchromaticMagus: I don't have sources, but I believe the bulk of videogame sales still come from off the shelf purchases at retail outlets. There are professionals out there that study box and ad design very carefully; more of less, it's always boiled down to a numerical score. Producers want a certain threshold to

@bmoreDLJ: Right? I think the fat profits from the poser-mobile H2 and super macho brand image were just too hard to walk away from. I think a cool little Wrangler fighter from Hummer with mild hybrid tech could have been very neat. (Like Jeep's Compass concept)

@jweller: Hopefully that is turning around; Ford is doing a good job of promoting the Fiesta.

@TR3-A: LA has a high concentration of rich people that come into wealth in fast and strange ways; this is not an uncommon way for them to dress. My CEO also has a red 360 of this vintage and wears T's and jeans to work a couple times a week.

@Vette5885: ... honestly, that's not a bad idea. A lot of hopped up cars and/or cars with nitrous have small extinguishers. Small price to pay for being able to put out your car...

@stuntdriver: It being worse or better is dependent on the pre-nup agreement.

@Brian Madigan: Probably. With the exotic engine placement and fueling/electrical plumbing, much more is liable to go wrong. Big car companies can do a lot of testing to make sure age and movement doesn't affect systems like these; boutique cars probably don't get much or any of this kind of testing.

The stance looks pretty nice. Would be more excited about this if it seemed like GM gave a toot about either this or the cruze; Ford does a good job of giving the impression that they are proud of their small cars and market them like it's something you would want to drive; with GM, often it's like "Well, sorry you

Strange, the tach/info center looks almost exactly like a modern motorcycle's gauge pod

@geschmidtt: I am now picturing Bob's Big Boy doing donuts in a ZR1, free hand raised out the window with a hamburger and plate.

@jon_daniels: Seriously? 800hp is beyond the limit of any kind of engine that's expected to stay together for a reasonable length of time without continuous tending. And on pump gas no less. I don't see how these numbers could be inflated much more without significant drawbacks in driveability.

@jon_daniels: many car arguments could boil down to raw numbers and cheapest solution, but I've noticed that as I've aged I do much less armchair tuning and come to appreciate overall aim of a tuning project and appreciation of what it achieves.

@Blackened2k6: Ironically, the beach in hell is nice; it's just the ocean of fire thats the problem.

@laylaholic: Someone had mentioned this over at AB; logically, someone else mentioned that, at that mass and speed, tethers would be relatively useless in stopping mass like that from flying away.

@willy626: Ouch! I remember that post on Mechafetus which I go to often. I thought his first couple ideas were pretty great, he just couldn't make it work with what the contact from Kotaku wanted.

@RäcinG73™: Bear is driving car? HOW CAN THIS BE!?

Well, at least I like the way it looks.
