I think we MotoGP fans have it even worse. :'(

@pauljones: Having been raised in Ohio, and now living in Los Angeles, I do appreciate that police will not pull me over unless I am doing something wrong; in Ohio, I remember coming home from work using special back routes to avoid roving packs of Highway Patrol cars that had come into the city because most county

@KAR120C: It is a benefit in Fallujah, though. And what is a civilian Hummer about if not image?

Xe approves.

@Nieros: This would actually be really fun - like, an ensemble movie where the rides have as much character as the actors. If it was understood that they were making a fun, goofy movie about the love of cars (and not pretending to be serious), it could be pretty great.

@HiramJahoovafat: ASAS - automatic sphincter adjustment system (my motorcycle has one, too)

@dolo54 blows minds and blows engines!: I would imagine the big advantages are direct integration to electronic safety control systems, precise feedback into fuel/air systems for maximum mileage, and I think you need a throttle by wire system to have the new start/stop engine management tech (not sure though.)

@CeRuLeaNBLu: Oh absolutely, much of what will come shortly will be psychosomatic in my opinion, with some opportunism sprinkled here and there. Leagues of trial lawyers are licking their lips as there's a hint of blood money in the water.

@hawkeye18: Haha, nice post. In regards to something similar, sport bikes and their efficiency/reliability, I argue that Japanese bikes are superior, because in Italy they take 4 hour lunches, and in Japan they have a term that translates roughly to 'work death', in that you work so hard and long you die from it.

@Kuro: This is what I thought - instructor motions to downshift and/or start braking, driver doesn't, and then tries waaaay too late. Driver began turning and braking, but the front just started to slide. Essentially he understeered off course, I think.

@Cheeseslap: Right? I hate that feeling, when you know something awful is inevitable.

@Number_Six: She can't ride on the back of my Honda. It's just not a pleasant place to be, even if I had the passenger pegs installed. The passenger seat of a supersport is like the backseat of a Mustang - technically useable, but only just.

@bearslayer: Thanks for giving a little more detail on the Audi thing... I was finding it hard to believe Toyota brass would tool around in an Audi in plain sight.

@Adhominem: Working the Wii Fit into the headline is what hooks readers, despite what the truth may be. This is exactly the same as when you see a crime associated with a video game, in reality the connection may be incredibly small, tenuous, or non-existent, but it makes for great press. It's all about the story.

@Lozmaster: Countering over-eating with exercise is a poor solution since you inherit the negative consequences of a poor diet despite losing or maintaining weight (gastronomic distress, hard on the kidnees and other parts of the endocrine system, etc.) Adjusting a diet to both reduce total caloric intake and balance
