@BarfHappy: Actually, diet regulates weight far more effectively than exercise. Exercise is wonderful and has many benefits, but if one doesn't also include a healthy and rational diet, it's like sandbagging for an oncoming flood.

@liquid_kore: No helmet will stop an assault rifle round. Kevlar helmets will probably deflect pistol rounds up to .45acp. Helmets are primarily for debris and shrapnel protection.

@grzydj: There's a sarcasm current flowing through this post but I can't quite get the angle. If the purposes was to bait true believers like touchitgently, then well done.

@smokyburnout: I am continually amazed at the general resistance to wagons and preference to 'crossovers', which are wagons with a couple throw away details lifted from SUV's.

@patman: As SUV envy deflates, the Panerama is the new Cayenne.

@coupeZ600: I want your star and your gun on my desk in the morning.

@pauljones: Wow, really? I always thought this sort of thing was much simpler and had no real kind of mystique to it, as is confirmed by this article. Pretty people are hired to stand next to cars? There's nothing I'm curious about that isn't self explanatory.

@TampaRon: The 5 seems like a great product; I know if I had a gaggle of people to cart around I'd really consider it for the reasons you've stated.

@chathamh: That is well said. However I fail to see how swapping in IRS tranforms a Mustang into a BMW M3 in both price and refinement.

@pauljones: Because it's better. One example you site, drag racing, I feel is niche at best. (I'm talking about real deal drag racing, where gearheads go to the track with intentions to win/compete.) The difference between red light to red light blasting with IRS and a live axle is negligible to none. And of…

@pauljones: Why bother with a kludge that has been refined to be pretty good, when you can use a solution better suited to the task at hand? Nostalgia?

Cheap option.

@Ben Wojdyla: Until a threshold is reached, I assume; as actual road race cars (and motorcycles) all have cross drilled rotors. Right?

@RyGuy: Hmm... any photogs out by RyGuy's way? I smell an official Jalopnik calendar shoot coming on - 12 months of Accord Wagon goodness!

@BartMack: "I'm sorry sir, you can't park your van on the diving board."
