@TheZohar: This is what most RTS's on PC seem to boil down to, to me. At least competitively. I've never played them multiplayer because of situations that you describe; at that point, it's not about skill or strategy, it's about edge cases.

My Fit only has cruise control. CC is a uniquely America thing I think, I would bet there's no other country out there who's citizens commute so far for work, and have roads that run as long without hitting another country or unpassable terrain.
