@British_Looks_British_Reliabil...: This poetic remembrance is part of why the oncoming era of electric motors leaves me somewhat saddened. Electric motors are terribly efficient but devoid of all that motion and fanfare signature of the internal combustion engine.

It's too bad all that tech still exists, as does the want to use it, but who will be first to produce the light weight, affordable sports car that gets a 2 star side impact rating? Safety has become the albatross around the neck of efficient performance. In 5 years, belt lines will be somewhere around our foreheads…

@Racin_G73 - dirt track legend (some day ... maybe): Makes a lot of sense. On the 'go' cars, the slope of the hood makes it seem like air would aid in front end downforce. The Camaro's front is too flat though; there's no angle at which the air could enter through the grill and sweep along an angle to do the same…
