About 10 years ago (yeah I’m old) I used to watch this Fantasy NBA show featuring Rick Kamla on NBA TV. It featured some repetitive, nondescript music that got stuck in my head, merely because it came on every night.

There are a great many reasons to dislike Jason Whitlock. Disliking him for being a ‘liberal’ seems like a silly and very inaccurate one.

Other calls they missed: Steph Curry has been pump faking then jumping into the defender to draw a foul.

The ‘Who’s the Best’ discussion may be well worn but wow helluva job showing contempt for your readers.

Chubby. Vulgar. Arrogant.

Why wasn’t Sepp Blatter arrested yesterday?

People will rip him for ‘throwing teammates under the bus.’ Those same people will then lament the NCAA student athlete death grip, which exists partially because the vast majority of athletes chose to keep their mouths shut.

I saw two nice puppies about 15 seconds in.

The crossed arms (“California grip”) and straps are workarounds, and poor ones at that, imo. For me, the secret to the traditional grip was stretching.

Winston’s lawyers disagree with you.

So wait, you “saw right through attempts to manipulate and would immediately lose respect for anyone trying it” but you also held a text conversation with this person long enough to “get sick of his texts”.

Whitlock is a product of his time, just like Booker T. Today, media is driven by clicks. While Whitlock’s pieces lack many things—intellectual rigor, fairness, historical perspective—they are click-baity as hell. No more, no less.

That’s what she said!

That was freaking well written. Do you write for a living? Just curious.

That strikes me as an odd thing to admire.

Kobe has a staggering lack of self-awareness. His career will not end well.

I’m trying to imagine the male equivalent of Katie Nolan (Brian Windhorst?) writing a diatribe about an article appearing on Adequate Man titled “How to Get Laid at the NBA All-Star Game”.

I actually clicked through and read it.

This right here is why I read Deadspin.

But that Olympic Village sex tho
