Am I dead inside?
I was watching Chapter 4 again tonight and I noticed... Cara’s beauty mark is actually a Rebel/Republic phoenix tattoo!
This is one phenomenon in media I’m ready to have end.
So, is that actually his kid, or did the casting director just get real lucky to find a kid that looks almost exactly like him at that age?
See my additional comment that they probably stopped at the bar. There aren’t a whole lot of populated areas on the planet and it’s a good bet the locals know of the gathering spot (ie, BAR) in that area.
It’s Pedro Pascal.
(How they know about the Mandalorian and where to find them is a detail that seems to get left on the cutting room floor; presumably, they heard something about him being spotted at the local common house, but it’s not necessarily an important detail.)
Since we haven’t seen any Mandalorians in this story without their helmets, it’s a bit soon to assume they’re “all human”. As for the “pacifist” group of Mandalorians... I just like to pretend they don’t exist.
Disney had nothing to do with it. The merger wasn’t even being discussed until 2017, this piece of dooky came out in 2015.

I’ve dearly loved Noel on GBBO, so I will definitely give this a look when it comes out. He’s delightful.

I get what Todd is trying to do here, but I really wish he’d not because all it does is make me angry.
I’m pretty certain it’s made explicit by the fact that the Gyptians have a rather grand ceremony celebrating Tony’s daemon settling into its final form...
I was SO happy with this first episode. Yes, the lack of Daemons was occasionally very distracting, but seeing Stella Maria guide Asriel down a snowy mountainside had me utterly giddy.
Oh, man, right?! I had to go back and watch it multiple times to try to see what I missed the first couple because I was so entranced with its beauty. After my disappointment in the movie, I am legitimately excited to see how this comes together!
So, are you Benioff or Weiss? Because, seriously now, the amount of time and effort you’re putting into defending them is starting to ring personal... like you have some sort of stake in defending their work.
