He drove his Chevy to the levy, but regretfully, the levy was not dry.

I once watched a man back up his suburban at a boat launch, put 1/2 of it in the water, and then his buddy drove their jet ski into the back. This was also in Washington. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Erik, you’ve overlooked an additional huge aspect to these engines: since previous generation, they’re optioned with factory-installed LPG installation that hides in spare wheel well.

$6,44 to drive 62 miles with current prices, and unlike aftermarket solutions it doesn’t require constant maintenance and is calibrated

yeah if the next frontier of ICE is sub 80hp in a 2400lb car you won’t need credits to get people to buy EVs.

as charging networks build out people will also be much more comfortable with a shorter range car (150miles or less) at least as a city car and maybe as their primary if they rarely roadtrip over 300 miles

I think vehicles like this make a lot of sense, but just not in the USA. We’ve always had a perception here that bigger is better. And then now you have large vehicles weighing in at 4500lbs instead of 2000lbs. This thing has less hp per lbs than even a 2004 xB. 0-60 might be slower than 14 seconds.

Less? What is this word “less”? We don’t have this word in America.

Shouldn’t they be putting in a smaller fuel tank to reduce the wet weight to get better fuel economy overall? I’m sure you can tell people to not fill it up, but if they get a bigger gas tank, people are going to fill it up.

I mean, it has to actually work.

If Cylinder deactivation is what winning looks like then Cadillac has been on the podium since 1981.

The most extreme thing I’ve seen in terms of improving thermal efficiency was when a project I was working on moved the engine vibration damper inside the front cover to get rid of the front crank seal. It was worth ~300 watts at a critical fuel efficiency RPM.

Yep. Needs huge-ass optional wing

How about instead of blaming others, we blame the people actually responsible for their actions?? They stole the car, they drove recklessly, they threatened others with a gun. All of this is illegal and 100% their fault.  Period.

Shall we ban sugar, fatty foods and cigarettes then? see table below.

When performance cars are outlawed only outlaws will have performance cars,

He went on to say he’d “love to see auto manufacturers take some responsibility,” regarding the misuse of performance cars”

Yeah, that’s the problem with regulation. Too broad of a brush.

Washington State just made almost all police chases illegal. If the police pass by a suspect vehicle that matches description and license plate no police chase allowed. No exceptions for domestic violence or kidnapping. Police to investigate, develop probable cause and arrest suspect when convenient. I have no problem

It’s a F82 M4 -- I believe it can hit 160 on stock with the driver’s package, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this car had a tune (like Bootmod3)...

Officer: I was in pursuit of a stolen BMW...
