This is sad, but it won’t change anything. Instead there will be a bunch of hearts and prayers to the family, but no one is going to actually change anything.

The last in-flight airline magazine I read a few weeks ago included a 12-page ad from the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce about how great Cincinnati was. My favorite part was definitely when they spent a page talking about how “the Bengals and Reds make Cincinnati the place to be for any sports fan”.

Right? That’s just how people in Ohio are.

They just blew nearly $10 million on an election in Austin. Tell me again why I care if it costs them a million bucks to do something so obviously logical?

But Uber is a technology company that just facilitates independent car owners to create new opportunities for themselves. Why burden Uber and Lyft with anti-business regulations when in fact these are independent contractors that should be protected from government persecution, and other BS and whatnot.
