I attended one of his shows with a friend in the early aughts not knowing who he was and thought, for bro-comedy, that it was pretty funny. But this was before he turned into a bloated angry uncooked steak and decided to go deep-jungle apeshit right wing. Now I find his comedy about as appealing as his look.

Oh stop being pretentious. Nobody on earth thinks the show is deep or anything beyond just morning television.  It’s a big show with lots of eyeballs. It’s precisely because it’s just easy TV that people stop by. 

And it wasn’t said or implied that it was exclusive to African Americans, just that it is the defining aspect of African American success. Try the fuck again.
