I get what you’re saying, but I was *really* invested in The Nevers. That it was a period piece was a huge draw for me. I’m really into that sort of thing. That it was a bunch of ass-kicking women in Victorian London really pandered to a lot of my big gay preferences lol.

I personally feel like both are true! But certainly mike white would like this to be open for interpretation!

Interesting! In my head, she did fuck Cameron. It made more sense to me that she was trying to get even with Ethan, actually get fucked like she’s wanted, sort of as a fuck-you to Daphne who she barely tolerated, and even as a mechanism to have some power over cameron who she saw as domineering. 

Did you not see when Daphne is on FaceTime with the kids and calls out for Cameron to come talk to them? Cameron shows some mix of apathy and irritation and doesn’t answer her at all. He just hesitated and then strolls in after letting her call out to come talk to the kids He absolutely was conveying that he’s aware…

Weird. I keep my subtitles on all the time as I’m an American living in Sweden and it translated the conversation she and alessio had. 

Having seen the full first season, I think they’re playing it really smart. They’re telling really good, really important stories without over-indulging. The TV show is already such a decadent affair that I think too much more would be overkill.

Oh! I was wondering about this! I subscribe to AMC through Apple TV+ channels and even on the episode title cards the air date is listed in the future. I always took it as some glitch or something that I was all-too happy to exploit lol. It’s a weird system. But whatever!
