Hubble exploded the playing field of how we understand space and the universe and this observatory is going to be so far and beyond H’s capabilities, so I would say you are very much right about that. This is going to be truly the  most exciting time for cosmology and science ever.

Good for you? Shitting on someone else for not enjoying the complexities of today during a job they love as much as a job you seem to tolerate seems like an odd flex. But go off I guess. 

The last episode of Discovery was basically a TNG era style Space-Mystery with some traditional Discovery emotional beats laid into it. I would like to say it’s definitely leaned heavily into the science in the last two seasons, especially S4.

It’s also done in the Voyager episode “Counterpoint” to conceal telepaths that Voyager is smuggling through a territory inhabited by a race that persecutes them. It’s also one of the very best VOY episodes.
