@Gabbelgak: I know you were referring to the base version. However, it's because of the extreme CPU support and more powerful GPU that the laptop had to be designed to accommodate hotter, more power-hungry components. Making it so that even the base model is more expensive than similar systems.

@Gabbelgak: This is the Clevo W860CU-3D. In addition to supporting extreme mobile I7 processors (920XM and 940XM), it also sports the GTX 285M; which is superior to the GTS 350M in the Toshiba. This makes it more powerful than the Toshiba laptop, and also explains the higher price.
