Ok. Now that this silliness is behind us can we get Shore and Fraser working on Encino Man 2 already?

The overlap of these people and people who think Star Trek is suddenly woke is a perfect circle.

Yes. I love that she’s like, “I did Strong Medicine, Grey’s Anatomy, a lot of stuff, why would I go back to THAT?”

Oh Allen’s just talking about a reboot so he can rant about “woke Hollywood” when it inevitably doesn’t happen.

I’m on board with disliking him for his politics and misogyny, in fact those are the reasons I dislike him. I’m just a little baffled by the whole “snitches get stitches” attitude here. Like, I fully understand the systemic problems with law enforcement in our country, so maybe that’s where you’re coming from? Fuck

A reboot wouldn’t need Richardson, because it’s obvious that at least some time in the intervening 25 years, Jill Taylor 100% would have wised up and left her asshat of a husband. Tim Taylor in 2024 is definitely a divorced sad dad living bitterly alone, unable to grasp how his current state of a affairs is a direct

Ghostbusters 2016 appealed to normal people too. Not sure what you’re implying. Women are 50% of the population. Doesn’t get any more normal than that.

The problem isn’t that people want something novel, it’s that they don’t know what they want. And they definitely would rather whine than celebrate.

It’s better than Afterlife by virtue of the fact it feels like an actual sequel and not solely a hollow nostalgia mine - though it does have intermittent doses of that. It’s definitely got problems, most notably the overabundance of characters and plotlines, but I had fun just watching a ghost busting mystery unravel.

Click bait title.

You know, an indie studio with a meme worthy idea is a little like the mule with a spinning wheel.

“Are you sure you can handle this indie game? Only the coolest people can handle this indie game...

“Now wait just a minute! You just tell us your idea and put your game on early access and we’ll buy it!”

Fun fact: If you apply the ‘Nintendo Lawyer’ Instagram filter, the girl is actually astride a giant sack of money.

I come before you today with an indie game! Perhaps the greatest indie game of all... nah, this indie game isn’t for you. It’s more of an itch.io kinda indie game!”

Easy mode should also just come with more customization options. Let players tweak how much damage they do or how much damage resistance they have.

“Easy mode is easy” as a complaint is a clear misunderstanding of the purpose of an easy mode. This all sounds exactly how it should be.

The irony here being that they complain about it being too easy and still didn’t change it back to normal difficulty.

“Easy mode is too easy" sounds like the correct difficulty for an easy mode. It sounds like the issue is more with normal mode, at least a particular boss in normal mode.

I appreciate easy/story mode. I’m here to have a good time (that means not doing the same fight over and over), enjoy the story itself, and then move on to the next thing. So in the case of FF7, I’m actually happy to hear this...
