Amen. What killed it for me is when I learned that Zack Snyder only really cared about comic book stories if the characters were killing each other or having sex*. He read Heavy Metal growing up instead of Marvel, DC, 2000AD, etc. and thinks it made him a high brow connoisseur of comic books.

What really drives me nuts is that Danny does the absolute most ass job of convincing his old friends that he's who he says he is, because the writers simply forced him to not say simple things that would prove it. Just to pad episodes with easy drama.

Yeah it's REALLY front loaded. You can't do anything at the beginning. Even on easy it's rough. Repairs cost nearly all of your loot. Then you hit level about 20 and you one shot everything and you're rolling in crowns.
