I admit I had hoped that was his plan but in the end I think it comes down to Jaime was just a damaged human being who loved who he loved. While a redemption arc seemed like a nice idea at the end of the day he was right when he told Brienne he once threw a kid out a window to protect his love.  He was a complicated

Yeah, but the difference is I expected a well written and well plotted show that explored that theme, one that hung together logically and didn’t make me regularly roll my eyes with how stupid the show has become. But maybe my standards are too high.  I guess this episode was cool if you shut off your brain first.

It’s almost like they had a guide for those first few seasons, a well-written and thought out template to follow...

Dumbest line of the whole thing was the typically ineffectual Jon telling a woman who almost got raped, Go find somewhere to hide!,” as the city was falling down around them.

+1 for your Stargate reference.

I think the best Star Wars tech would be teleporters, you know, just like Kirk and Picard used to get places.

“Easy” cosplay should not be discounted.

Not so easy. He found the closest approximation to early 90s fashion that is no longer in print.

Lady dressed as Link dressed as a lady.

I just steal the Post Gazette online to check the headlines and make sure I’m not missing anything in the local Pittsburgh news (they’re too stupid to figure out we just use private windows to get around subscription fees). 99% of the time its just fluff and Steelers bullshit, for which I give zero fucks.
